Plan a small palette
Pick two or three main colors and leave some areas unfilled. Repeat a color in separate details to give the design a visual rhythm. Compare a version with a strong outline against one with softer shading rather than trying to fill every available space.
Try a focused activity
- Color only the large shapes first.
- Repeat one pattern in the eye frames.
- Make a second version using the same outline and different colors.
- Write a short note about the choices you made.
