Use the model’s size chart

US ring sizes are not millimeter measurements. Measure an existing ring that fits the intended finger and compare its inside diameter with the seller’s chart. For example, an 18 mm diameter gives an approximate geometric circumference of 56.55 mm; it does not establish a universal US ring size.

Compare the full design

  • Band width and thickness, not just the size label.
  • Height and width of the skull above the finger.
  • Base metal, plating and any darkened surface treatment.
  • Whether the adjustable opening is designed for repeated adjustment.
  • Return conditions for the exact seller and destination.

Separate appearance from composition

Silver colored does not mean sterling silver. Ask whether the description refers to the base metal or a coating. Hallmark information from a UK assay office explains its own system, not a universal US certification. We do not infer allergy suitability, durability or metal content from a photograph.

Sources and method

Decalavera’s editorial criteria and examples use AI assistance and documentary checking. References support their specific cultural or technical context; they do not certify products or represent physical tests. Sources from other jurisdictions are not presented as US product certification.
